Alumina carbon protecting pipes, also known as alumina carbon long fluid outlets. It is installed between the ladle and the intermediate ladle to protect the molten steel from secondary oxidation and prevent splashing. It is a functional refractory product that realizes the diversion, protection, and improvement of the quality of cast steel billets for molten steel.
The Alumina carbon protecting pipes consists of a body and slag line.
The main raw materials for the main body are plate-shaped corundum and graphite powder.
The main raw materials for the slag line are ZrO2 and C, and the binder is resin. After the product is formed by a static press machine with a pressure of not less than 150MPa, it is fired in a nitrogen atmosphere to obtain the finished product.
