Chrome Corundum Brick

Using α - Al2O3 as raw material, adding chrome oxide powder or chrome corundum clinker powder, forming by high-pressure molding machine or vibration molding machine, firing in high-temperature shuttle kiln at 1600 ℃ ~ 1700 ℃. Description

1.Application of Chrome Corundum Brick: glass fiber furnace, hot metal pretreatment equipment, carbon black furnace, garbage incinerator, zinc melting furnace

Compared with pure corundum brick, the product has better properties, such as fire resistance, load softening temperature, flexural strength, high temperature creep property, high temperature volume stability and slag corrosion resistance. The chrome corundum brick has been used in the lower part of 300 kt ammonia gasifier and in the throat of carbon black gasifier. In order to improve the content of Cr2O3 in production, we must first premix Cr2O3 and Al2O3 particles to make al2o3-cr2o3 sand, and then mix and shape. In this way, the quality of the matrix part of the product will be greatly improved, and the use effect of the product will be better. Chrome corundum brick is usually bonded by ceramic or by high-purity matrix chrome aluminum solid solution. Chrome aluminum solid solution bonded products have better thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. The service life of chrome corundum brick is more than twice longer than that of corundum brick used in iron and steel industry, such as ladle permeable brick. In nonferrous metal smelting industry, the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of chrome corundum brick are obviously better than other kinds of bricks. Chrome corundum bricks are widely used in petrochemical industry, chemical fertilizer plant, vaporization furnace, carbon black and reaction furnace. However, the service life of the chrome corundum brick in the barrel and vault of the vaporizer is not matched, which greatly affects the overall service life of the vaporizer and increases the production cost. Therefore, it is of great significance to further improve the service life of the chrome corundum brick. It is an urgent technical problem to improve the sintering condition of chrome corundum brick, make it more compact, improve the thermal shock resistance of chrome corundum brick, and reduce the cracking and spalling phenomenon in the process of use
