The main components of acid resistant chimney bricks are mainly quartz, feldspar, and clay, which are corrosion-resistant materials made by high-temperature oxidation and decomposition. They have high acid and alkali resistance and low water absorption rate. At room temperature, it is not easy to oxidize and is not easily contaminated by media. In addition to hydrofluoric acid and hot phosphoric acid, it has excellent anti-corrosion properties against acids such as warm chlorinated salt water, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and any concentration of alkali at room temperature. Under high temperature roasting, a large amount of multi aluminum red columnar stone is formed. Due to the tight structure of acid resistant bricks in chimneys and their low water absorption rate, they can withstand any concentration of alkaline medium at room temperature, but are not resistant to high temperature molten alkali.
