1. Description of alumina hollow ball castable
Alumina hollow ball castable is a kind of advanced refractory castable with high temperature resistance and good heat insulation performance. The light heat insulation filler used is alumina hollow ball, while alumina hollow ball is a new type of high temperature heat insulation material, which is made by melting and blowing industrial alumina in an electric furnace. The crystal form is α- Al2O3 microcrystal, temperature resistance up to 1800 ℃. The lightweight insulating castable produced with aluminum oxide hollow ball has small density, low thermal conductivity, good thermal shock stability, high load softening temperature, and large strength. Its service temperature is 1600-1700 ℃. It is often used as the lining of carbon black reaction furnace, metallurgical and chemical high-temperature furnaces. It is used in various atmospheres with stable performance and long service life.
