The fused cast alumina brick is formed by using high-purity alumina raw materials, melting and casting at a high temperature above 2000 ℃ in an electric arc furnace,fused cast α-β Alumina bricks are made of α- Al2O3 and β- Al2O3. The two crystals are crisscross to form a very dense structure. It is excellent in strong alkaline resistance. The product contains almost no impurities such as Fe2O3 and TiO2. The glass phase is very few. When it is in contact with the liquid glass, it rarely generates bubbles and absolutely does not pollute the liquid glass. casting α-β Alumina brick, in the temperature range below 1350 ℃, has better resistance to the corrosion of molten glass than fused zirconium corundum brick. Therefore, the product is most suitable for the tank wall, pavement, material path and channel of glass furnace.
Since Al2O3 itself is saturated with sodium above 2000 ℃, the product is very stable to alkali steam at high temperature, and does not react with alkali metal oxides. Its thermal shock stability is the best among the fused cast bricks. However, when contacting with SiO2, the Na2O in the product reacts with SiO2 to produce large shrinkage, which causes cracks and damage to the brick. Therefore, electric melting β- The alumina brick is only applicable to the upper structure of the working pool, and the combustion is buckled to the breast wall and the hanging wall.
Fused cast α- Alumina bricks are made of 90% of α- Al2O3 and 4% β-Al2O3, with compact structure and excellent chemical stability. It has strong corrosion resistance to various slag. It is suitable for the cooling part of glass furnace, the upper structure and the electrolytic cell of non-ferrous metal smelting furnace.
