Polycrystalline Mullite Fiber And Glassy Fiber Have Different Preparation Process

The polycrystalline mullite fiber and glass fiber have different preparation processes. They are prepared by chemical "colloid method", and are formulated according to the formation of single crystal mullite (Al2O3, SiO2). The chemical composition is Al2O3 72% and SiO2 28%. The principle is to make the soluble aluminum and silicon into colloidal solution with certain viscosity, and then the liquid is spun by conventional method, and then the crystal phase transformation is completed by high temperature heat treatment to produce mullite fiber. The fiber cotton (loose) can be used as filling material for the interlayer of high temperature parts. The PMF fiber series can be made by wet vacuum forming, such as plate, felt, brick, standard and different prefabrication, module, combination parts, etc.
