The castables shall be stored in the warehouse with top cover, and shall not be exposed to rain and moisture. The shelf life is five months. During the construction of castables, the expansion joint should be strictly controlled according to the specification and the expansion joint coefficient. The expansion joint shall be reserved on the brick surface contacting with castable with felt paper or rock wool. During construction, the forced mixer should be used to stir the material, and no artificial shovel can be used. It is forbidden to mix different brands of castables. When in use, all the materials in the whole bag (including large bags of aggregate and small bags of powder) shall be poured into the mixer, and no residue or part of them shall be taken out for use.
It is suggested that the ambient temperature of material injection construction should be 10 ~ 30 ℃. During construction in summer, it is strictly forbidden to put the castable in the open air, and it should be placed in a cool place. The construction part should be shaded, and the mixing water temperature should not be higher than 20 ℃. During winter construction, when the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ℃, warm water mixing should be used. After construction, appropriate insulation measures should be taken to keep the ambient temperature above 5 ℃, and the demoulding time should not be less than 48 hours. When the construction temperature is lower than - 5 ℃, it is strictly prohibited.
