1.Mechanical cutting
If the carbon fiber board needed in the project is not too precise, it can be cut mechanically, such as grinding wheel. When cutting, the rotation speed of the grinding wheel must be high, otherwise cutting will cause too large burr. If it is a relatively precise project, alloy cutter can be used for cutting. Alloy cutter should be replaced frequently. If the cutter head is not sharp, the burr will be too large.
2.Water jet cutting
The water jet cutter can be divided into two types: Gaza and non sand. For carbon fiber board cutting, the method of adding hard abrasive should be used, but the purchase of the water jet cutter should be careful, and the poor water jet cutter is easy to cut the burr.
3. Laser cutting
Some people will use the laser cutting machine, but there will be burning marks on the edge of the carbon fiber board, which is not recommended.
4.Ultrasonic cutting
Ultrasonic cutting is to use the ultrasonic energy to make the material to be cut produce fine crushing to achieve the cutting effect. The carbon fiber board cut by ultrasonic cutting machine is clean and tidy, which has less damage to carbon fiber, and the cost of batch processing is higher.
