Strengthen the research of permeable function of permeable brick. In the laboratory, according to the JC / t945-2005 permeable brick industry standard, the permeability coefficient is measured by using airless distilled water, while the permeability coefficient is measured by using tap water, slurry water without concentration, etc. to observe the permeability of different media and solutions in permeable brick.

Observe the pervious function of the paved pervious pavement. After laying, the first observation test shall be carried out immediately, and then the change of pervious function of pervious pavement shall be observed on site every 1 month or 3 months, half a year or 1 year. At the same time, according to the same observation time and JC / t945-2005 permeable brick industry standard, the permeability coefficient is measured in the laboratory. In order to determine whether the pervious brick can be used and whether the pervious function can be fully developed and maintained for a long time, the influence of environmental conditions on pervious brick pervious function is studied. The above tests shall be carried out in different environments. The areas with good environmental control, low air dust content, less road dust, good cleaning measures, rich rainfall and concentrated rainwater can be selected, and the areas with bad environment, high air dust content, rolling road yellow dust, mud everywhere in rainy days and poor cleaning can also be selected. By choosing different use environment and observing the change of pervious function of pervious brick with use environment and use time, the applicable environmental conditions and application area of pervious brick can be correctly standardized without misplacement.

Two types of rainwater recovery systems were investigated, analyzed and evaluated. The traditional rainwater recovery system is to make the rigid road surface or ground into a certain slope. When it rains, the rainwater flows into the underground drainage pipe along the slope through the collector to recover the rainwater. The pervious ground paved with pervious bricks, when it rains, flows the rainwater through the thickness direction of pervious bricks into the subgrade, and then recovers the rainwater by pervious pipes or pervious facilities laid in the subgrade. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive and objective investigation, analysis and economic evaluation on the input, output and rainwater recovery effect of the two kinds of rainwater recovery systems, so as to provide a scientific basis for the municipal construction to choose the rainwater recovery system scheme, as well as an objective evaluation for the promotion and use of permeable bricks and their social and economic benefits.

Study and formulate the technical code for the application of permeable brick. Strictly define the application scope and use environment of permeable brick, and make scientific regulations on the material, design, construction and acceptance of permeable brick.
