The raw material for refractory materials used in the production of high alumina bricks, bauxite (raw material), is mainly classified according to the high or low content of AL2O3 (alumina). Al2O3 content greater than 75% is classified as special grade; 70% -75% are classified as first level; 60% -70% are classified as Level 2; 50% -60% are classified as level three; 45% -55% are classified as level four. The impurity content requirement is less than 2.5% (special grade requirement is less than 2.0%), and the cao content is less than 0.6% (special grade requirement is less than 0.5%, and fourth grade requirement is less than 0.7%). The refractory temperature is higher than 1770 degrees. High alumina bauxite mainly composed of boehmite is classified as special grade and first grade; Those containing some clay minerals (kaolin) are classified as secondary; Mainly composed of kaolinite and containing a considerable amount of boehmite, it is classified as third grade.
