Direct combination magnesia chrome brick is a product made from high-purity or sub high purity sintered or fused magnesia sand and chromium concentrate as raw materials. Direct bonding refers to a type of bonding that occurs when solid grains come into direct contact with each other. This brick is made from high-purity sintered magnesia and chromium concentrate with SiO2<2% as raw materials, and is sintered at high temperature. The direct bonding degree of the product increases with the decrease of SiO2 content and the increase of firing temperature.
Performance: This product has few impurities and is fired at high and ultra-high temperatures. The glass phase is concentrated in the triangular region of the crystal phase, and the crystal phases are directly combined. It has low porosity, high compressive strength, strong wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, and peel resistance.
Application: Directly combined with magnesia chrome bricks, widely used in electric arc furnaces, copper smelting converters, flash furnaces, RH and DH vacuum treatment devices, external refining VOD furnaces, AOD furnaces, cement rotary kilns, etc
