Low thermal conductivity mullite brick is a unique three-layer composite design: working layer, thermal insulation layer and zirconium fiber thermal insulation layer. The overall density of the product is reduced to 2.3g/cm3, and the overall thermal conductivity is 1.7-1.9w/m.k. Which is far lower than the original silicon molybdenum brick. The multi-layer composite structure solves the problems of high-temperature cracking, deformation and falling off caused by the mismatch of expansion coefficients, improves the thermal shock stability, reduces the thermal conductivity, and reduces the external surface temperature of the cement kiln by 50-80 ℃. After one year of use, the thickness of the brick is still 130-150 mm, which can be used for more than three months, greatly extending the service life, and saving 1100 tons of standard coal, directly saving about 300000 costs.
The application of low thermal conductivity mullite bricks has effectively solved the problems that cannot be solved by the original silica mullite bricks and spinel bricks used in cement kilns, the product damage caused by material erosion, mechanical stress, rapid cooling and heating, and the high thermal conductivity and weight of the original products, which lead to large heat loss and increased coal consumption. In practical application, the product not only meets the use requirements of the cement kiln, but also has good thermal insulation effect, effectively extending the service life of the cement kiln.
