1. It can withstand high temperature up to 1200 ℃.
2. It is suitable for K2S2O7 and other acid material melting samples.
3. Generally, it can not be used for melting with NaOH, Na2O2, Na2CO3 and other basic substances as flux to avoid corrosion of porcelain crucible. The porcelain crucible shall not be in contact with hydrofluoric acid.
4. Porcelain crucible can be washed by boiling with dilute HCl.
5. Porcelain crucibles can be divided into: medium wall crucibles, low wall crucibles, high wall crucibles, plain crucibles, volatile crucibles, tight crucibles, Roga crucibles, double-layer crucibles, ancient crucibles, fine hole crucibles, infrared carbon sulfur crucibles, free expansion coefficient crucibles, etc.
6. Ceramic has water absorption. Therefore, in order to reduce the error, the crucible should be dried strictly before use and then weighed on the analytical balance. Sometimes the analyte is filtered with ash free filter paper, and the filter paper is put into the crucible together; the filter paper is completely decomposed in high temperature environment, and the result will not be affected. After high temperature treatment, the crucible and its contents are dried and cooled in a special dryer, and then weighed. Clamp the whole process with clean crucible tongs.
