The purpose of the thermal insulation material used in the regenerator of glass furnace is to slow down the heat dissipation and achieve the function of energy saving and thermal insulation. There are many kinds of thermal insulation materials, but there is no uniform regulation on what materials should be used for this part of thermal insulation materials. At present, there are four kinds of thermal insulation materials used by enterprises, namely, light clay thermal insulation brick, aluminum silicate fiberboard, light calcium silicate board and thermal insulation coating.
Here we compare the construction methods of four commonly used insulation materials, as follows:
1. Light clay insulation brick
To build the thermal insulation layer with light clay thermal insulation brick, you can build the external wall of the regenerator at the same time, or you can build it after baking the kiln, but you need to build the Latin brick in advance, so that the thermal insulation layer and the external wall become a whole. The actual thickness of the thermal insulation layer can be half, one, one and half bricks, etc., and the outer surface can also be added as the thermal insulation layer of other materials, so as to achieve better energy conservation and thermal insulation effect.
2. Aluminum silicate fiberboard
The light calcium silicate board is welded with angle steel every certain height between the columns of the external wall of the regenerator. The light calcium silicate board is inserted into the angle steel one by one, and the construction thickness is one layer of board thickness (50mm).
3. Light calcium silicate board
The construction of aluminum silicate fiberboard is more troublesome. In addition to the welding of support angle steel, the steel grid structure shall be welded in the vertical and horizontal directions, and the thickness shall be adjusted according to the requirements.
4. Thermal insulation coating
The construction of thermal insulation coating is much easier than other kinds, as long as the coating construction is carried out on the surface of the external wall thermal insulation brick until the thickness required by the design is reached.
Summary: generally, the last three materials are not directly in contact with refractories, but are constructed outside the insulating bricks. As far as the construction complexity is concerned, aluminum silicate fiberboard is the most troublesome, followed by thermal insulation brick and calcium silicate board, and the application of thermal insulation coating is the simplest.
