Carbon-free and unburned corundum spinel bricks meet the smelting needs of low-carbon steel. Compared with aluminum magnesium carbon bricks, it has improved permeability, corrosion resistance, and peel resistance. Carbon free and unburned corundum spinel bricks purify molten steel and have been applied in 150 ton steel ladles, achieving over 130 heats.

2. Product Description
Carbon free and unburned corundum spinel bricks are made of fused alumina, plate-like alumina, and fused alumina magnesia spinel sand.
Using α - Al2O3 powder as the main raw material and Alcoa sol as the binder, a 1000 ton molding machine was used to shape and bake at 200 ℃ to produce carbon free and unburned corundum spinel bricks. Carbon free and unburned corundum spinel bricks are mainly used in the bottom and walls of steel ladles, replacing aluminum magnesium carbon bricks and corundum spinel castables, effectively improving their resistance to permeability, erosion, and peeling. Carbon free and non burning corundum spinel bricks do not contain carbon, and are non-toxic and smoke-free during the baking process, making them environmentally friendly products.
After heat treatment at 1000 ℃, carbon free and unburned corundum spinel bricks exhibit slight expansion and high strength, indicating that MgO begins to react with Al2O3 to form spinel at 1000 ℃, increasing the bonding strength of the matrix and facilitating resistance to thermal stress induced thermal peeling. After heat treatment at 1600 ℃, the apparent porosity is low, indicating the formation of a dense and uniform structure in the brick, which is beneficial for improving the anti permeability performance of the product and reducing structural peeling.
