Adding 10% - 30% Cr2O3 into AZS brick, fused zirconium chromium corundum brick (abbreviated as AZCS brick, French brand ER2161) was produced by non shrinkage casting method. The surface and interior of the product are dark green. The product contains 4.5% shrinkage pores without connecting pores. Due to the formation of aluminum chromium spinel solid solution, the viscosity of glass phase is increased. Therefore, the corrosion resistance of the product is greatly improved. However, Cr2O3 can stain the liquid glass and can not be used in the production of colorless glass. It is an ideal material for the upper structure of tank kiln.
Zirconium chromium corundum brick have good corrosion resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, wear resistance and spalling resistance. Therefore, zirconium chromium corundum brick are widely used in oil cracking furnace, carbon black furnace, waste incinerator, rolling furnace slide rail and other fields.
