Silicate refractory castable is suitable for watering and maintenance, which forms dehydration and hardening during the hydration process of the product. The maintenance of high alumina cement casting materials is particularly important, as the cement hydration and enhancement in high alumina cement casting products are fast. And a lot of Exothermic reaction occurs, which is easy to crack its appearance. Wet maintenance should be covered up and watered after the hardening of the pouring section begins. The frequency of watering should be such that the pouring material can maintain a satisfactory wet condition. The heating rate for steam maintenance of Portland cement refractory castables should be 10-15 ℃/h, and should not exceed 20 ℃/h; The cooling rate should not exceed 40 ℃/h.
The increase in strength of water glass castable occurs during the dehydration process of silica gel. Therefore, maintenance should be carried out in a dry environment without watering.
Phosphoric acid refractory castables should not be maintained with water or steam, but should be maintained in a dry environment. If the ambient temperature is low, low-temperature drying is required after pouring.
Attention for demolding: Non load-bearing formwork can only be removed when the strength of the pouring material can ensure that its appearance and edges are not damaged due to demolding. The load-bearing mold should not be removed until the pouring material reaches 70% strength.
