The selection and configuration of refractory materials for glass melting furnace should follow the following basic principles.
① According to the working environment (temperature, atmosphere, raw material composition and condition, fuel, etc.) of the various parts of the furnace and the cause of the damage of the refractory materials, select and configure the corresponding refractory materials.
② According to the scheduled kiln age of the kiln and the damage rate of the refractory materials in each part, select and configure bricks with corresponding physical and chemical performance indexes and external dimensions to match the life of the refractory materials in each part with the kiln age.
③ Avoid the use of refractory materials that will chemically react together at the temperature of use. If it must be selected, a transition brick or transition layer should be used between the two bricks.
④ The horizontal brick joints should be reduced as much as possible in contact with the glass liquid in order to avoid the erosion of bricks caused by upward drilling erosion.
⑤ When it is necessary to use refractory mud masonry, it is necessary to use refractory mud with the same properties as the bricks being built. Refractory bricks and refractory mud of different materials should not be mixed.
⑥ During the cold repair of the melting kiln, the reasons for the damage of the refractory material that caused the weak link of the cold repair of the kiln stop should be improved:
⑦ The selection and configuration of glass Kiln Pond Bottom Block should also consider the economic rationality of the total cost of the refractory materials in the kiln; according to the current production level and practical experience of refractory materials
