1,Description of hot blast furnace silica brick
The silica brick of the hot blast furnace is made of quartzite with SIO2>98% as the main raw material, added with mineralizing agent and binder, and fired at 1410~1450 ℃ after forming. The product has good thermal shock resistance above 600 ℃, adapts to the variability of hot blast furnace temperature, and keeps the integrity of brick and masonry. The chemical corrosion resistance of the product is better than that of clay bricks and ordinary high-alumina bricks.The corrosion of alkaline substances in coal gas and smoke dust on the silica brick is limited to the formation of a layer of glass phase on the surface, without peeling. The thermal conductivity of silica brick is greater than that of clay brick and high-alumina brick, which is conducive to storing and releasing heat in a short time.
The silica content of hot blast furnace silica brick is not less than 95%, with good resistance to acid slag erosion, low high temperature creep rate, long-term use at high temperature without deformation, and can extend the service life of 7-8 years

1) Hot blast furnace silica brick is an acid refractory brick with good resistance to acid slag erosion,even in alkaline atmosphere, only a layer of glass phase is formed on its surface without peeling
