1，Description of Fused Cast Magnesia Chrome Brick
The product is a fused cast refractory product made of magnesia and chromite as the main raw materials. The main mineral composition is magnesia chrome spinel and periclase. Most of the spinel phase exists in the periclase crystal body, and the degree of direct combination between crystal phases is extremely high. Most of the pores exist in periclase crystals and are closed.
The production process of Fused Cast Magnesia Chrome Brick is as follows: magnesia with MgO>93%, SIO2<3%, and chromite with Cr2O3>45%, SIO2<3% are used as raw materials, a small amount of additives are added, mixed evenly, put into an electric arc furnace for melting, maintain a weak oxidizing atmosphere, so as to obtain more precipitated spinel, and the cooling speed should not be too fast, so that the solid solution of periclase can be desolved and spinel can be formed.
The product has excellent high-temperature performance, high high-temperature strength, resistance to alkaline slag corrosion, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, etc. It is often used in large float glass furnaces, steel mills, copper smelting, lead zinc smelting furnaces, etc., with a service life of more than 5 years.
