2. Product Description of Aluminum Magnesium Carbon Brick (AMC)
The main raw materials for aluminum magnesium carbon brick (AMC) are alumina or special grade alumina, magnesia sand, graphite, with added antioxidants, SI powder, Al powder, SiC powder, resin as a binder, high-pressure molding, and heat treatment at 200 ℃ -300 ℃ to obtain the finished product.
The product has good thermal shock stability, anti peeling performance, anti-oxidation performance, slag resistance performance, etc. During use, residual expansion occurs due to the formation of spinel, which further increases the overall integrity of the furnace structure and improves the anti permeability ability.
Due to its superior characteristics, the product is widely used in steel barrel lining, ladle bottom, electric furnace and converter lining and other parts, with a service life of 50-80 times.
3. Main characteristics
1) Good thermal shock stability performance, with air cooling reaching over 60 times.
2) Good anti stripping performance, forming spinel mineral phase during use, improving anti stripping performance.
3) Good antioxidant performance, added with metal Si powder, Al powder or SIC powder to improve antioxidant performance.
4> Strong slag corrosion resistance is determined by the main raw materials of corundum sand, fused magnesia sand, and graphite powder
4. Main purpose
Mainly used for lining steel drums, ladle bottoms, converter and electric furnace linings
