According to the use temperature and molding method, mullite cordierite shed boards can be divided into the following categories.
Class L products: this kind of mullite cordierite shed plate has low coefficient of thermal expansion, strong deformation resistance, good thermal shock stability, long-term use temperature of 1250 degrees Celsius, suitable for pressing, extrusion and casting, and can be made into products of various shapes and sizes.
Class F product: this kind of mullite cordierite shed plate has high strength at room temperature and strong deformation resistance, but its expansion coefficient is slightly higher. The long-term use temperature is 1280 degrees Celsius. It is suitable for pressing, extrusion and tamping, but it is not suitable for making products over 1000mm.
Class R Product: This product has a particularly low coefficient of expansion, excellent thermal shock stability, moderate deformation resistance, long-term use temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius, can be made into a fast burning product, suitable for press molding.
Class H product: this type of product has low coefficient of thermal expansion, good thermal shock stability, moderate deformation resistance, long-term use temperature of 1220 degrees Celsius, suitable for casting and molding, and can be made into products with complex shapes.
Class C product: this type of product has high strength at normal and high temperatures, strong deformation resistance, but large expansion coefficient, long-term use temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius, suitable for pressing and extrusion molding, not suitable for making fast burning products.
