The high temperature creep rate of refractories refers to the isothermal deformation rate of products under constant high temperature conditions due to the change of stress with time. When the refractory material bears load at high temperature, plastic deformation will occur, and the deformation will gradually increase with time, and even be damaged by the refractory material. This phenomenon is called creep.
The high-temperature creep rate of refractory materials is detected by heating at a certain rate under constant pressure, holding for a long time after reaching the specified temperature, and recording the deformation of the sample in the high-temperature direction with the change of time, that is, the creep rate.
