Thermal insulation refractory slurry is composed of heavy and light refractory raw materials, binders, and additives, and is a specialized slurry for masonry thermal insulation refractory products. It is divided into two types: aluminum silicate and silicon silicate.
As is well known, the apparent porosity of thermal insulation refractory products is greater than 45%, indicating a high water absorption rate. Traditional refractory mortar masonry has poor spreading and kneading properties, and the mortar joints are difficult to ensure and not full. The newly developed thermal insulation refractory slurry overcomes these shortcomings and ensures good masonry quality.
Selling materials for thermal insulation refractory slurry: heavy materials include high alumina alumina clinker, clay clinker, silica bricks, and semi silica bricks; lightweight materials include various types of thermal insulation brick powders, hollow balls, fly ash floating beads, and microspheres; binders mainly include aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, dextrin, water glass, and polysaccharide starch; Admixtures include lignosulfonates, polyphosphates, etc. Plasticizers are mainly used in soft clay, while expansion agents are used in blue quartz and silica.
The particle size distribution of thermal insulation refractory slurry is:>0.5mm ≤ 2%, ≤ 0.074mm 50%~70%. The mix proportion of clay thermal insulation refractory slurry is 40% clay clinker powder, 30% clay thermal insulation refractory brick powder, 30% composite soft clay powder, and CMC0.2%. The bonding time is about 80 seconds, and the drying flexural bonding strength is 0.5-0.7 MPa. The mix ratio of high alumina insulation refractory slurry is: alumina clinker powder 35%, high alumina insulation refractory brick powder 35%, composite soft clay powder 22%, silica powder 5%, and bentonite 3%, with additional binders and additives. The bonding time is 97-110s, and the flexural bonding strength after drying and 1100 ℃ firing are 0.9MPa and 3.6MPa, respectively. The mix ratio of alumina containing insulation slurry is: industrial alumina powder 20%, high alumina insulation refractory brick powder 58%, Guangdong mud and Suzhou mud each 10%, feldspar 2%, composite binder and external agent 6%, mixed with water. Its chemical composition is Al2O3 57%, SiO2 29%, Fe2O3 0.45%, RO+R2O 1.74%, and loss on ignition 3.3%. Fire resistance>1790 ℃. The tensile bond strength after drying and 1000 ℃ firing are 0.26MPa and 0.31MPa, respectively.
Thermal insulation refractory slurry contains lightweight materials. When mixing, 1/2 of the amount of water should be added and mixed for a few minutes, and then the remaining water should be added and mixed evenly. The total mixing time should not be less than 20 minutes. The mixed slurry should be left to stand for 0.5 hours before use.
