The Basic Regulations Of Masonry Slurry For Lining Fire Brick Of Shaft Kiln

May 13, 2021

1,The fire resistance and chemical composition of the slurry used for masonry refractory products shall be compatible with the fire resistance and chemical composition of the refractory products used. The type, grade and other performance indexes of the slurry should be selected according to the temperature and operating conditions of the kiln.

2,Before the masonry of kiln body, the consistency and water content of the slurry should be determined by test according to the masonry type, and the masonry performance (mainly the bonding time) of the slurry should be checked whether it can meet the masonry requirements.

3,Finished slurry shall be used for kiln masonry, and the maximum particle size of slurry shall not be greater than 30% of the specified brick joint thickness.

4,When mixing mud, it must be weighed accurately and mixed evenly. Do not add water or bond in the prepared mud. It should be noted that the content of CL in water should not be more than 300 mg / L.

5,When different slurries are used at the same time, it is not allowed to mix mixers and slurries.

6,The mud mixed with cement, water glass or brine should not be mixed in masonry. The suspected mud shall not be used.

7,When mixing phosphate mud, the specified time of material trapping must be ensured, and relevant requirements shall be in accordance with (Interim Provisions on construction technology of high strength phosphate mud).
