These bricks are used in molten iron ladles that have not undergone triple deslagging, achieving a service life of 800–1000 heats.
The main characteristics of Andalusite-SiC bricks are as follows:
1. In 150-ton molten iron ladles, they achieve a service life of 800–1000 heats without intermediate spraying or repair.
2. They exhibit excellent resistance to slag corrosion and erosion, with an average erosion rate of 0.155–0.165 mm per heat.
3. They possess outstanding thermal shock resistance, showing no cracking, spalling, or major cracks during service.
