Firstly, Mg (OH) is used in this paper_ 2,A1_ 2O_ 3,SiO_ 2 as the raw material, the fiber-reinforced cordierite ceramic material was prepared by introducing a proper amount of alumina silicate ceramic fiber. The phase composition analysis and microstructure observation were carried out to explore the feasibility and technological conditions of the template growth method for the formation of fibrous cordierite, At the same time, the effect of ceramic fiber on the properties of cordierite honeycomb ceramics was studied. The results show that after the introduction of aluminum silicate ceramic fiber, the cordierite phase can be formed by reaction with fiber as template under the condition of 1300 ℃ for 5 hours. The cordierite phase in honeycomb ceramics prepared by extrusion method has the characteristics of directional arrangement, low thermal expansion coefficient and high mechanical properties.
