Phosphate Bonded High Alumina Brick

Apr 25, 2022

It uses phosphoric acid as raw material, and uses aluminum phosphate solution of 1-400 ℃ as raw material to produce dense clinker, while it mainly uses bauxite solution of 1-400 ℃ as raw material. In order to avoid large shrinkage of products during high-temperature use, micro expansive raw materials, such as kyanite, sillimanite and silica, are generally added in the ingredients. Compared with fired high alumina bricks, they have better peeling resistance and wear resistance, but their soft charge temperature is low and their corrosion resistance is poor. Therefore, an appropriate amount of fused corundum and mullite are often added to strengthen the matrix of bricks and improve the soft charge and corrosion resistance, Phosphate bonded high alumina bricks are used in cement kilns, electric furnace roofs and lime kilns.
