Masonry Requirements Of High Alumina Brick

1. Bricks such as edge, angle, crack, melting hole and slag erosion allowed by furnace building materials shall be laid on the non working face of masonry.

2. Working faces of silica refractory bricks and clay bricks are not allowed to be processed.

3. The standard brick for furnace wall shall be no less than 2/3 of the length after processing. 1 / 2 bricks can only be used when the staggered masonry is used.

4. In order to ensure the quality of masonry, the fire-resistant bricks shall be laid horizontally and evenly. The height difference of wall work shall not exceed 0.5mm.

5. The joints of the firebrick must be staggered and horizontal and vertical.

6. It is strictly forbidden to knock or process bricks with various tools on the masonry that has been built.

7. When the masonry is stopped in the middle, steps shall be reserved and a layer of bricks that have been loosened on the surface shall be removed and re laid before the next masonry. The surface of the brick body that is not loosened shall be inspected and cleaned before masonry.

8. The fire channel, volatile passage and air channel shall be thoroughly cleaned before reversing and sealing to ensure the cleanness and smoothness of each channel.

9. During the process of building fire-resistant bricks, the cleaning of masonry and construction site must be ensured. And there shall be anti pollution facilities (wrap the protective plate with felt paper or sheet steel).

10. During the masonry, mud and dirt on the masonry shall be cleaned at any time.

11. In order to completely remove dust and rubbish in masonry holes, compressed air can be used for purging (air pressure is not more than 0.05Mpa).

12. The masonry surface shall be cleaned with brush, and iron brush or scraper shall not be used for cleaning.

13. When cleaning masonry, if any defects (empty joints or unfixed and cracked bricks, etc.) are found, correct repair shall be carried out in time.
