Magnesium oxide (magnesia) special refractory material
Magnesium oxide (magnesia) is an alkaline refractory material with high load softening temperature and low creep. Although its melting point is as high as 2800 ℃, it is prone to volatilization in a reducing atmosphere and can only be used at temperatures up to 2000 ℃. It is a good structural material for ultra-high temperature kilns and also a good lining material for power frequency furnaces, medium frequency furnaces, and high-frequency heating furnaces. High purity magnesia bricks can be used as channel lining materials for magnetic fluid power generation.
Magnesium oxide ceramic products can be made into magnesium oxide crucibles for smelting and purifying non-ferrous, rare and precious metals, high-temperature furnace tubes, ultra-high temperature tungsten rhenium thermocouple protection tubes, insulating ceramic beads, etc.
