To ensure the accuracy of the external dimensions of clay bricks after drying and firing. When designing a model, there should be appropriate scaling. The size of the scaling rate is related to factors such as the properties of the clay material, the molding method, and the direction of kiln loading. Before mass production, it is necessary to conduct experiments to determine the tape ratio.
For ordinary clay bricks produced by friction brick presses, the placement rate in the direction of compression during kiln loading is 2%, and the placement rate of steel bucket lining bricks is 2-3%. Ordinary clay bricks produced using high stroke brick presses, lever brick presses, or vibration forming machines have a 2% scaling rate in the direction of compression and a 1% scaling rate in the direction of non compression during kiln loading.
The drying system for clay bricks should vary depending on the composition of the clay material, the shape and size of the body, and the molding method. Using semi dry method to form clay bricks, due to the high content of clinker and low moisture in the clay material, rapid drying can be used during drying.
When using a tunnel drying kiln for drying, the inlet exhaust gas temperature is 120-160 ℃ for flow steel bricks and general bricks, and 190-220 ℃ for blast furnace bricks and lining bricks. Export exhaust gas temperature: 30-100 ℃ for flow steel bricks and general bricks, 60-90 ℃ for blast furnace bricks and lining bricks.
