These characteristics endow it with excellent wear resistance and thermal shock stability, which can effectively resist the erosion and airflow wear of coke particles.
In dry quenching coke ovens, dense refractory bricks are mainly used in non working layer areas such as the upper cone where temperature changes are relatively gentle.
