Thermal insulation materials can be specifically divided into fibrous, porous, powdery, and layered forms. The main feature of this composite aluminum silicate insulation material is the use of multiple composite materials.
Aluminum silicate ceramic fiber. Silicon aluminum fiber is a widely used high-quality insulation material. Due to its main components being Al2O3 and SiO2, it can withstand high temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1200 ℃. Its thermal conductivity is low, ranging from 0.117~0.209 kW/(m ·℃), and its bulk density is light (80~160 kg/m3). It has good thermal stability and flexibility, and even under harsh conditions of sudden heating and cooling, it will not peel off or disintegrate.
Aluminum silicate fiber has high heat resistance, strength, and corrosiveness, but its price is relatively high, so about 10% is added. And asbestos is a natural fiber with high tensile strength, abundant resources, and low price. Adding about 40%, its main function is to improve the tensile strength of insulation coatings on the basis of thermal insulation. Bulk insulation material, such as expanded bead rock, has good insulation performance and can be distributed between fibers. It can adapt to various shape requirements and is inexpensive, so about 30% is added. Float beads are used to fill the intergranular pores, in order to improve the bonding strength and insulation performance of the material, with a dosage of about 10%. At the same time, about 15% of low-cost bentonite with certain insulation capacity, fire resistance, and bonding strength is added, supplemented with a certain amount of adhesive to improve the bonding strength. Expanded perlite, floating beads, and bentonite all have excellent corrosion resistance.
During the production process, soak the aluminum silicate fibers in penetrant and an appropriate amount of water for 24 hours, then put them into a mixer and add thickener to stir them into a paste. Add asbestos, expanded perlite, floating beads, bentonite, and suitable water and stir evenly. Finally, add high-temperature glue and 107 glue and stir.
