Alumina-silicate ceramic fiber. Alumina-silicate fiber is a widely used high-quality thermal insulation material. Due to its main components being Al2O3 and SiO2, it can withstand high temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1200℃. It has a low thermal conductivity of 0.117 to 0.209 kW/(m·℃), a light bulk density of 80 to 160 kg/m3, good thermal stability and flexibility, and will not spall or disintegrate even under harsh conditions of sudden heating and cooling.
This coating integrates heat preservation, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and corrosion resistance. Its main features include:
1. It has good thermal insulation performance and is not prone to deformation. After the coating is applied and dries, a sealed gap is formed inside, which will not deform or crack due to long-term use.
2. It requires less material, has a light dry bulk density, and a low thermal conductivity of 0.098 kW/(m·℃), and can be used in thin thickness.
3. Low cost: With equivalent performance, the cost per unit area is 15% to 50% lower than that of traditional insulation materials.
4. With strong adhesive strength, the coating remains intact without peeling or cracking after drying. It boasts a flat, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing surface, and can be decorated with various colorants. It is particularly suitable for valves, rotating bodies, spheres, and equipment subjected to impact loads, which are challenging to insulate.
5. It has a wide range of applications, suitable for various special-shaped equipment and pipelines in the chemical, metallurgical, electric power, pharmaceutical, boiler, and heat network industries, operating within the temperature range of -40 to 700℃.
6. Easy to construct, just apply and no need to bundle.
7. Resistant to corrosion from acids, alkalis, and oils, it does not age, is waterproof, non-toxic, does not harm the human body, and does not pollute the environment.
