Alumina silicate fiber, also known as ceramic fiber, is a new type of lightweight refractory material. It is produced using clinker as raw material, melted in an electric resistance or arc furnace, and blown into fibers.
This material possesses lightweight, high temperature resistance, thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity, good mechanical vibration resistance, excellent heating and insulation performance, and good expansion properties. It is processed into aluminum silicate fiberboard, aluminum silicate fiber felt, aluminum silicate fiber mat, and aluminum silicate fiber mat products through special treatment. The model sealing material features low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, lightweight, long service life, high tensile strength, good elasticity, and non-toxicity. It is a new material that replaces asbestos and is widely used in metallurgy, electricity, machinery, chemical industry, and other industries for thermal insulation.
Technical features:
It is impermeable, possesses high mechanical strength, and its strength and apparent density are directly proportional to changes. It exhibits excellent compression performance. With good thermal insulation and moisture absorption properties, its thermal conductivity remains stable over time and does not vary due to environmental changes. It is non-spontaneously combustible and non-flammable, making it an excellent fireproof material.
The working temperature range of foam glass is 200~430°C, with a small expansion coefficient (8×10), reversibility, stable material properties, low susceptibility to embrittlement, good stability, excellent sound insulation performance, and strong absorption capacity.
