The wear-resistant steel ball is a kind of crushing medium used for grinding machines, crushing and grinding materials. There are four kinds of wear-resistant steel balls, one is chromium alloy ball, the second is ductile iron ball, the third is wear-resistant steel ball, that is, forged steel ball, and the fourth is high chromium ball. Wear resistant steel balls are widely used in grinding machines in mining, cement and building materials industry, thermal power generation, chemical industry, coal water slurry, pellets, fly ash, fine powder and other industries.
As for the steel ball ratio in the grinder, four principles are generally followed:
1) When the hardness of the material to be grinded is large, the steel ball with large diameter is selected. Large diameter steel balls can quickly grind large pieces of material into small pieces with high efficiency.
2) Three graded balls, less large diameter, less small diameter, more middle diameter balls, that is, less two ends, more middle
3) When the diameter of the grinder is large, the impact force is large. Select the one with small steel ball diameter, so that the contact area between the material and the steel ball becomes smaller, the impact force is greater, and the efficiency is higher
The high chromium cast iron ball is used in the ball mill of cement plants and thermal power plants. Its consumption rate is low and its service life is more than 3 times that of the high carbon alloy ball
