Aluminum zirconium carbon slide gate plate is developed and produced on the basis of aluminum carbon sliding plate, which is a high-temperature fired product. The raw materials used are mainly calcined bauxite, corundum, zirconium, mullite, graphite, and the binder is resin, which is fired at 1300 ℃ in a carbon buried reducing atmosphere. Compared with the traditional aluminum carbon sliding plate, the aluminum zirconium carbon sliding plate improves the thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, etc., and extends the service life. It is mainly used in the casting system of large and medium-sized steel ladles and tundishes, with an average service life of more than 4 times.
