1. Product description of converter thermal spraying coating
The converter thermal spraying coating is a dry-type alkaline product, which is prepared by using sintered or fused magnesia, synthetic magnesia calcium sand as the main raw material, polyphosphate or sodium silicate (sodium silicate) as the binder and additives. Generally also known as magnesium or magnesium zirconium spray coating. The MgO content of the magnesia used shall be greater than 90%, the CaO / SiO2 ratio shall be greater than 1.8, and the lower the SiO2 content, the better, so as to reduce the formation of low melting point silicate phase at high temperature.
Through scientific selection of particle ratio, plasticizer and sintering agent, the converter thermal spraying coating can effectively improve the adhesion performance of the product, reduce the rebound rate, and increase the bulk density and strength.
In the process of converter steelmaking, the spraying materials are divided into two types: preventive spraying and maintenance spraying. The former is sprayed once every 3-5 heats in the middle period of converter use, and the latter is sprayed when the furnace lining is damaged.
