1. Description:
The silicon carbide brick used in electrolytic aluminum cell is improved on the basis of the traditional production process of silicon carbide brick. It specially produces silicon carbide brick suitable for the application of electrolytic aluminum cell, adding silicon oxide powder, silicon nitride powder or fused mullite powder. In the process of high-temperature sintering, silicon nitride and silicon carbide polymer are formed, with denser organizational structure, higher strength and better thermal conductivity. The important thing is that the product does not react with cryolite, Excellent liquid aluminum penetration resistance and corrosion resistance.
The refractory used for the side lining of electrolytic aluminum cell must have the following characteristics: high resistivity, good thermal conductivity, no chemical reaction with molten cryolite, small porosity, no electrolyte penetration, and no oxidation by air.
