1.Description of Refining Slag: in order to solve the problems of deoxidization, decarburization, desilication, poor stability of molten steel, prevent liquid steel from absorbing oxygen and secondary oxidation of molten steel in the smelting process of LF furnace, our company has developed high-efficiency submerged arc refining slag. The product has deoxidization, submerged arc foaming and refining three in one, which improves the stability of molten steel composition, reduces smelting cost and shortens refining time.
2.Features and functions of Refining Slag
1)Refining slag is an alkaline slag with reduction ability. It deoxidizes the steel slag, changes the quality and reduces the content of FeO and MnO in the slag
2)The contents of Al2O3 in the refining slag increases the fluidity of the slag and the melting point of the slag is low, which satisfies the desulfurization reaction
3)The submerged arc effect is good, the noise in front of the furnace is small, and the heating speed is ≥ 3.5 ℃ / min,
4)Stable arc combustion
5)Keep the temperature of molten steel and reduce the temperature drop
6)Protect molten steel from secondary oxidation and aspiration
7)Absorbing and containing non-metallic inclusions in molten steel
3. Usage and dosage: the product composition can be adjusted according to the user. Tonnage of steel added is: 0.8-1.5kg
4. Storage and transportation: rainproof and moisture-proof measures shall be taken for storage in dry and ventilated environment
