Electrode paste, also known as self-baking electrode, it relies on the heat in the submerged arc furnace to complete the roasting. Therefore, the matching of the consumption rate of the product with the baking rate is the key to the use effect of the product. The sintering performance of electrode paste product is good. If the operation technology and environment of the factory are applied appropriately and reasonably, the use effect of the products will be better.
The two most worrying aspects of the application factory are the soft and hard breaking of the electrode paste during its use. Soft break is due to insufficient heat absorption of products, resulting in less sintering speed than consumption speed, drop too fast, product not fully sintered can not withstand the lower part of the product tension and lateral impact, resulting in fracture. Hard break is caused by insufficient strength of products after sintering.
The occurrence of these two problems is related to the product performance of the manufacturer and the rational operation of the factory. As long as the manufacturer strictly chooses raw materials for proportioning,choose the discontinuous two-axis kneading pot equipment with more than 2000 L,and grasps the kneading speed and time well, In addition, reasonable selection of the softening point (90℃) of asphalt binder and the amount of use and the roasting speed of products, strict control of these factors of production, the performance of the produced electrode paste will be completely qualified.
