The pressureless sintered silicon carbide is a new technical product. Compared with the reaction sintered silicon carbide, the pressureless sintered silicon carbide has a better crystal structure, corrosion resistance and wear resistance due to different formation processes
The product has smoother surface, higher density and higher strength, and is naturally shrunk below 2100 ℃
The product is made of high-purity and superfine silicon carbide powder as raw materials, with a small amount of sintering aids, such as boron and carbon, and sintered in inert gas at atmospheric pressure or vacuum atmosphere at 1950-2100 high temperatures. The obtained products are almost completely dense and have excellent mechanical properties.
