What are the differences in refractory clay materials? There are various classifications of refractory mortar materials, and different refractory bricks are built using different types of refractory mortar. Refractory mortar is the joint material used in the construction of refractory products, which is commonly used in the lining of refractory bricks in kilns, also known as joint material, mortar, etc. Refractory mud is a slurry composed of refractory powder, binder, and additives applied to the surface of refractory brick masonry.
According to the material, refractory mud can be divided into silicate aluminum mud such as clay, high alumina, mullite, and siliceous, alkaline mud such as magnesia and magnesia carbon, and refractory mud such as carbonaceous binder.
The materials of refractory bricks used for masonry with different materials of refractory mud are also different, and the operating temperature also varies to some extent.
(1) Clay bricks use refractory mud as clay refractory mud;
(2) High alumina bricks use refractory slurry as high alumina refractory slurry;
(3) The refractory mud used for mullite bricks is either mullite refractory mud or corundum refractory mud;
(4) Silicon bricks use refractory slurry as silicon refractory slurry
(5) Magnesia bricks use magnesia refractory slurry;
(6) Magnesia carbon bricks use refractory slurry as magnesia carbon refractory slurry;
(7) The refractory slurry used for lightweight refractory bricks is matched with insulation refractory slurry of the same material;
