The original design of the dry quenching tank used a frame and lining board inlaid structure. The outer frame of the coke tank and the tank frame are welded with Q235 steel. The straight section lining plate of the coke tank is made of ductile iron QT600-3, the cone section (inclined section) is made of heat-resistant steel, and the bottom gate is generally made of heat-resistant stainless steel.
1. The 900 ℃ temperature difference alternates repeatedly, causing the lining plate of the coke tank to easily crack, deform, and even fall off.
2. High failure rate, poor stability of dry quenching system, and short service life of coke tank lining. The detached lining card blocks the rotary sealing valve, causing red coke to scatter from the gap between the lining plates that have fallen off the coke tank, resulting in frequent accidents such as burning of locomotive cable equipment.
3. The heat loss is significant. At 0 ℃, the thermal conductivity of cast iron is 43W/(m.K), and as the metal temperature increases, the thermal conductivity also increases. The heat of red coke is transmitted through the lining plate.
4. There are environmental hazards. The deformation, wear or detachment of the lining plate of the dry quenching coke tank can cause the red coke to fall off from the lifting coke tank, which is prone to personal injury accidents such as scalding and smashing, and there are significant hidden dangers; At the same time, it will also increase the workload of on-site cleaning, resulting in visual pollution such as coke powder flying.
