They have the characteristics of good strength, low thermal conductivity, and light capacity. Compared with general refractory bricks, lightweight insulation bricks are lighter in weight and have small pores evenly distributed inside, with a higher porosity. Therefore, by ensuring that the heat lost from the furnace wall is reduced, the cost of fuel will correspondingly decrease. Lightweight insulation bricks also mean a smaller heat storage capacity, allowing for faster heating and cooling, allowing for faster periodic operations. Lightweight insulation refractory bricks are suitable for a temperature range of 900 ℃ to 1650 ℃. It is often widely used as a lining material for various industrial furnaces, such as annealing furnaces, carbonization furnaces, tempering furnaces, refining heating furnaces, cracking furnaces, roller kilns, tunnel kilns, and as a backing insulation material for various industrial furnaces.
