High alumina refractory balls are mainly composed of alumina, with its content normally ranging from 50% to 90%. The higher the alumina content, the better the high-temperature resistance of refractory balls. Refractory balls may also contain a small amount of impurities such as silica and iron oxide. The content of these components is kept at a low level to ensure material stability.

Application Fields:
1. Metallurgy industry: Used in regenerators of blast furnaces, hot-blast stoves and electric furnaces as heat exchange media to improve thermal energy utilization.
2. Chemical industry: Applied in high-temperature reaction equipment such as catalytic cracking units and ammonia synthesis reactors, serving as catalyst carriers or thermal insulation materials.
3. Ceramics industry: Used as kiln furniture in ceramic kilns to support green bodies and reduce heat loss.
4. Power industry: Installed in boiler combustion chambers or flues to boost combustion efficiency and protect equipment.
Notes for use: Although high alumina refractory balls feature good thermal shock stability, drastic temperature fluctuations should be avoided. Frequent rapid heating and cooling will shorten their service life. Mechanical damage also needs prevention. Handle with care during transportation and installation to prevent breakage caused by collision. Regular inspection for wear is required during long-term operation, and damaged balls shall be replaced timely to maintain equipment efficiency.
