Construction Technology Of Corundum Spinel Castable

The pouring construction of this product requires mixing with domestic drinking water, with an appropriate amount of water added ranging from 3.6% to 4.6%. The optimal construction environment temperature is 5 ℃ -25 ℃.

一,Construction preparation

1.1 The mold should be installed correctly according to the construction requirements. The mold can be made of 3-6mm steel plates or 12-25m wooden boards. All pouring molds must be flat, rust proof, and free of other impurities adhering to the working surface. The steel plate can be fixed by spot welding, and the wooden board can be fixed with nails, top rods, and iron wires. The gap should be controlled to the minimum, and there should be no material leakage or slurry leakage. The anchoring parts are firmly welded, and any surfaces that may easily absorb water in contact with the casting material (insulation layer) and the anchoring parts need to undergo anti water absorption treatment. The surface of the template in contact with the pouring material should be coated with release agents such as industrial oil to avoid adhesion between the pouring material and the steel plate during demolding.

1.2 Expansion joints should be strictly set according to the design requirements. In the absence of a design, they should be set at a distance of 1.5-2mm. The pouring in the small area divided by the expansion joint must be completed in one continuous pouring, and the pouring area must not be stopped midway before the pouring is completed

二,Mixing and pouring

2.1 Mixing: Pour in the aggregate and the small bag binder in a dry state and premix for 2 minutes, then slowly add water to reach the appropriate amount of water. Wet stir for about 1-2 minutes (note: excessive mixing water will cause bleeding and segregation of fine materials and aggregates, resulting in a significant decrease in the strength of the pouring material). Observe the slow deformation, collapse, and flow of the mud in the pot. If the ratio is reasonable and the mixing is good, the material can be unloaded and poured. (Note: Avoid prolonged mixing as the material will become sticky and affect fluidity, accelerating solidification speed).

2.2 Pouring and vibrating: Pour the mixed pouring material into the template as soon as possible, and start vibrating from the bottom until all air is discharged. The vibrating rod should stay in one place for about 10 seconds, and be careful to pull it out slowly to ensure that the vibration is dense, the pouring surface is flat, and there is no segregation or bleeding, indicating good molding.

三,Static curing of pouring materials

3.1 Under normal temperature conditions: The hardening time of the pouring material shall not be less than 12 hours, and the mold shall be demolded 24 hours after pouring. If the pouring volume is large or the ambient temperature is low, the curing time and demolding time should be appropriately extended.

3.2 When the ambient temperature is ≥ 25 ℃, after the pouring of the pouring material is completed and before hardening, it is necessary to prevent the rapid evaporation of water from causing the low final setting strength of the pouring material. A thin layer of plastic or wet grass mat can be covered on the surface of the pouring material for curing
