High alumina brick is a type of refractory brick product made from bauxite as raw material, mainly composed of AL2O3 as the main crystal form. It is made by selecting materials, batching, making green bodies, and high-temperature sintering between 1550 ℃ and 1700 ℃.
The chemical composition and physical properties of bauxite, as a raw material for high alumina bricks, vary greatly due to its colloidal mixture of iron containing substances and aluminum hydroxide in the early stages of forming the ore structure.
