SiC anti skinning castable is produced with SiC as the main raw material, superplasticizer and superfine powder, and pure calcium aluminate cement as the binder. It can greatly reduce the number of skinning, and is suitable for large and medium-sized dry process cement rotary kilns, such as preheater feeding slope, rising flue, decomposer cone and other parts prone to skinning.
Due to its own uniqueness, silicon carbide has little adhesion to cement raw meal, which greatly reduces the caking of cement raw meal at the kiln tail blanking slope. The anti scaling castable made of ceramic waste, silicon carbide, silica micro powder and bauxite powder as main raw materials and pure calcium aluminate cement as binder has better alkali resistance, anti scaling performance, wear resistance and non clogging performance, The silicon carbide content shall be controlled at 15%, 30% and 55%.
The waste porcelain chips have good chemical stability. They react with alkali gas to generate anorthite and potassium feldspar with high viscosity liquid phase, which attach to the surface of the castable to form a glaze like protective layer, thus preventing alkali corrosion and enhancing alkali resistance. The hardness of silicon carbide is large, which can meet the scouring and wear of raw cement clinker and is not easy to peel. Therefore, the anti skinning castable mainly composed of ceramic chips and silicon carbide has excellent performance.
