Ceramic fiber products are ceramic fiber textiles produced using special textile techniques and equipment. They have the advantages of light weight, good insulation performance, good thermal stability, good chemical stability, easy processing, and convenient construction. They also have high tensile strength at high temperatures, stable external dimensions, and resistance to vibration and impact; After drying, its physical and chemical properties as well as insulation properties can be restored to their original state. When used on heating furnaces, it is safe, reliable, and has significant energy-saving effects. It can also reduce maintenance time and frequency, making it an ideal insulation product in the current industrial field. Next, we will introduce the application of ceramic fiber products in heating furnaces:
(1) Except for chimneys, air ducts, and furnace bottoms, any other part of the heating furnace can be covered with ceramic fiber blankets or ceramic fiber boards.
(2) The hot surface blanket of layered ceramic fibers should be a needle punched material with a thickness of at least 25mm and a density of 128kg/m3. When using ceramic fiber felt board for the hot surface layer, its thickness should not be less than 3.8cm and the density should not be less than 240kg/m3. The ceramic fiber blanket used for the back layer is a needle punched material with a bulk density of at least 96kg/m3. Specification of ceramic fiber felt board for hot surface layer: When the hot surface temperature is below 1095 ℃, the maximum is 60cm × 60cm; When the temperature of the hot surface exceeds 1095 ℃, the maximum is 45cm × 45cm.
(3) The operating temperature of any layer of ceramic fiber products should be at least 280 ℃ higher than the calculated hot surface temperature. The maximum distance between the anchoring point of the hot surface layer of the layered ceramic fiber blanket and the edges of the blanket should be 7.6cm.
